Anthony grew up on the warm bustling streets of Hong Kong and has since moved to Cardiff for university and career; as a result, he is able to speak both English and Cantonese (廣東話) to his patients. Anthony aims to make each dental visit a comfortable and friendly one, and hopes to ease your concerns when you see him.
Qualifying with honours in 2019, he worked across both general practice and hospital settings. Anthony was a senior house officer in the University Dental Hospital of Wales in the specialties of Restorative Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine. During this time, he worked alongside consultants and specialists undertaking complex treatments which has developed key skills across the specialties.
Anthony has gained membership to the prestigious Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians Glasgow. He also has both a presentation and a poster published in the British and Irish Society of Oral Medicine winter conference on different clinical topics.
Anthony is particularly interested in endodontic treatments (root canal treatments) and removable prosthodontics (dentures) and has completed a postgraduate diploma in Endodontics with the University of Chester. He frequently undertakes more complex root canal treatments alongside general treatments. He is a previously nominated finalist for the Dentistry Clinical Case awards for his work with dentures.
He is also a provider of the popular Sleep Clench Inhibitor (SCi), Enlighten teeth whitening, Invisalign and C-Fast short term cosmetic orthodontic solutions.
Outside of work he spends time walking and washing his ever-energetic but muddy dog Misty and dabbling in some DIY at home.
